斐波纳奇神奇数列的地图妙用The Fibonacci Numbers' magical function in map design

摘要(Abstract):
尺寸是地图符号的最基本视觉变量之一,人们通过对符号尺寸的视觉判断和比较形成对定量地理信息的认知。作者提出了一种适用于等级符号法制图的尺寸设计方法,其特点是使等级系列圆的面积变化遵循斐波纳奇数列规则。论文分析认为,一方面该方法可以在一定程度上补偿人们视觉认知中的低估量;另一方面,与经典的Meihoefer系列圆、Dent系列圆相比,其数学上的规律性既便于制图者灵活掌握,在数字制图软件中也易于实现,因而具有较大的实用性。
